My Story…
Hi family and friends,
I am running the Oakland 10K on March 22 to raise money for Eat, Learn, Play (ELP). This is a wonderful organization created by Steph and Ayesha Curry which has provided books, libraries, and healthy food for Oakland students. Having taught in Oakland for 30 years, it is heart warming to see how committed ELP has been to ensure all kids have equal opportunities.
I have volunteered at many of these events and seen the joy on children's faces when they get to select books to bring home and also get some delicious and nutritious meals.
Whatever you can contribute, $5-$10-$25 or more will be much appreciated.
